OK Falkner Winery in Temecula it is! What a fantastic place! I think we’ve even settled on a photographer. Now to find a DJ or band, an officiant, cake, dress, and have some good ol’ parties! Other minor details (hah) include places for family to stay and travel.
Well, we still haven’t decided WHERE we’re going to hold the momentous occasion. We haven’t sent out announcements to family or friends yet. We haven’t sent out “save-the-dates” to those we want to invite. We haven’t really done anything yet!
First we must set a budget. Oh and before that—how about where we’ll even get the funds from!
But once the budget is taken care of then we can decide “for real” where we’ll have it and how many people we can invite.
So far we have narrowed it down to some place outdoors, wooded, and pretty!
Falkner Winery here in Temecula would take care of most of those wishes. Then it comes down to who all we can invite. We both have semi large families with Aunts/Uncles/Cousins and such so this should be interesting…
So I really hope friends and family will understand if we can’t invite EVERYONE to our wedding. As much as we’d love to—we’re really looking to have an intimate setting with closest family and friends—ON A THE CHEAP! haha.

There are many things to do before our wedding… Number one… Pick a date!
We still need to send out engagement announcements or something to that effect as well.
Please check back often for more updates and news as we gather things together and get creative for a wedding on a budget!
Below is a cheese ball picture of my engagement ring… We were camping when he proposed after all. It seemed only fitting to have some nature in the picture too!
